Mission Statement
Our mission is to develop swimmers of all levels in a strong community atmosphere supported by dedicated parents and coaches. Through positive motivation and  self-awareness, we strive to develop athletes to their maximum potential at their natural rate of progression.

Welcome to the Capital Area Swim Team.
We are located in the Lansing, Michigan area holding practices at several convenient locations.
We practice and compete year-round and are always accepting new swimmers.

Capital Area Swim Team is a United States Swimming affiliated program offering the youth of this mid-Michigan community opportunities to achieve excellence through swimming.  We help you child to develop self-confidence, goal setting, good sportsmanship and commitment in a positive environment which is the bedrock of the CAST team structure.   Regardless of prior ability, there is a place for everyone at CAST!




Provided here are several resources to answer questions about the program and the swimming adventure in general.  This site serves to acclimate new families to the sport as well as keep our current swimmers in the loop.  We encourage you to get involved and take great satisfaction in knowing that the point is the experience.
